Joy Flights
Take to the sky for a birds-eye view of the stunning Sunshine Coast on a private helicopter scenic flight. As you climb up away from the airport the beautiful Sunshine Coast opens out below you.
Any of our joyflights can cater for 1 person up to 7 people at a time. The number of passengers will determine the type of helicopter, and the type of helicopter will determine the price. Below we have given a few options. We can also customise a flight to take you anywhere you would like to go.

Flight 1: Coastal Flyer
Delight in the contrasts of the patchwork cane fields, winding rivers and golden beaches.
Gaze out to the hills of the hinterland as you head south over the Maroochy River. Look down upon the canal estates and million-dollar homes at Mooloolaba before rounding the Pt Cartwright Lighthouse. Soar low back north along the coast’s best known beaches of Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland and Maroochydore while watching the surfers and beach goers before passing Twin Waters Resort on the way back in to the airport.

Flight 2: Coast Spectacular
Choose to fly north or south to experience the delightful diversity of tranquil lakes, winding rivers, open fields and golden beaches.
If you choose to travel north, you’ll fly low over the unspoilt northern beaches, past the popular seaside town of Coolum Beach, around Noosa National Park and Noosa Heads. See Hell's Gate at Alexandria Bay, the holiday paradise of Noosa with the Noosa River winding its way through impressive lakes and national parks to the Noosa Everglades, with views along 40 Mile Beach to Double Island Point. Fly past Sir Richard Branson’s Australian home on the private and exclusive Makepeace Island before returning inland over open fields with views to the mountains and hinterland, and past the impressive coastal monolith of Mt Coolum.
Or, if you choose to fly south you'll take-off inland and over the tranquil Maroochy River winding through open cane fields to Bli Bli and Sunshine Castle. Fly cross-country past the ranges of the hinterland to the unique Ettamogah Pub with a great view out over expansive pine forests to the majestic Glass House Mountains. Head east to the coast for a low flight back north over golden beaches. Soar around the Pt Cartwright Lighthouse and look down on the canal estates and million-dollar homes of Mooloolaba. Watch the surfers and beach goers on the coast’s best known beaches of Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland and Maroochydore before once again crossing the Maroochy River and flying past Twin Waters resort on the way back in to the airport.

Combine the best of the north and south “Coast Spectacular” flights and then extend it for the ultimate experience of the beautiful Sunshine Coast. As well as the locations mentioned above, this flight gets you a closer look at the majestic Glass House Mountains and has you soaring up along the range and past the hinterland towns of Maleny and Montville for a fantastic perspective of the beauty and diversity of the Sunshine Coast.
