Accommodation on the Sunshine coast

Coming to Australia, or even if you live in Australia, leaving home for 6 to 12 months is a big event so having a good place to stay is important. We have several options available to you, each with different levels of service, facilities and costs, these include;

  • Self rented accommodation
  • Full board
  • Motel
  • The pilothouse

There are many types of accommodation to suit you and your family while you are training at Becker Helicopters.  Below are some suggestions and lists of agents that would be more than happy to assist you.
Arrive Early
We recommend that you arrive at least two weeks before your training to organise your accommodation.  Pending on room availability, we are happy to book a room at a local motel (located 20 minutes walk from the school) whilst you look for permanent accommodation.  We suggest you let us know as early as possible if you would like a room at the motel.

The Queensland Tourism Board has developed a terrific web site with a surfeit of information on it from accommodation, rental cards, sight seeing, etc.  Check it out on http://www.qttc.com.au.

The other way to see what accommodation, rental apartments, and real estate agents are available is on the yellow pages:  www.yellowpages.com.au.  Look under key words:  real estates, or accommodation, apartments, rentals.  The area is:  QLD-Sunshine Coast, Mudjimba, Postcode 4564 or Coolum Beach about 13 minutes away by car. Postcode is 4573.

And then there is Maroochydore some 10 minutes away by car its postcode 4564.

If you have a family or wish to rent your own accommodation there are units available on the
Coast both furnished and unfurnished. The cost varies from about $150-$300 per week.

don't mind being on your own with another family. The costs is from $$180 per week
