Imagine, you flying a helicopter. Grab the controls of the most versatile vehicle on earth and find out what it's like to fly one for yourself. Under the safe hands and watchful eyes of a fully CASA-accredited helicopter flight instructor, take to the skies for an experience you'll never forget.

Your helicopter experience begins with a coffee and greeting with your instructor. Following this introduction you will be shown a video on some of the principles of helicopter flight and how the controls are used to manoeuvre the helicopter. This will last around ¾ hour. Parked on one of our helipads will be the helicopter you will fly. Get in. Go through the start up procedure. The engine fires, the rotor blades start turning. A couple of minutes later you're floating above the pad. Your instructor maintains a watchful eye and safe control of the aircraft at all times. During your ½ hour flight you learn to manipulate the controls individually. Toward the end of the flight you are flying the helicopter for yourself.

When safely back at our base, you shut down the machine and then proceed to debrief with the instructor. Generally there is little about flying a helicopter that would prevent most people from experiencing it for themselves. The cabin of a helicopter, however, is not overly large. For comfort and safety reasons, we cannot accept people who weigh more than 109kg.
